Te Arai Kete has been initiated in order to share experiences of Te Arai, past and present. The project's aims is also to highlight the outstanding natural resources of this area, its rich biodiversity and the features of the landscape that have allowed for this diversity.

This site is run on Kete open source software. Kete Te Arai was developed by Te Arai Beach Preservation and Katipo Communications Ltd. to build a digital library of Te Arai material.
